Hyper Joker is a new addition to Fortune Factory Studios’ collection of Gold Blitz games, which continues to play on proven mechanics. This time, the developers return back to the classics with an iconic joker theme to cater to the old-school-loving audience and present them with a new kind of gaming experience.

For those already familiar with the Gold Blitz series, there’s hardly anything new to be found, however. The game utilizes the same 6x4 reel setup with an all-ways pay system producing 4,096 win ways on each spin, while the main attraction is the branded cash collection feature. Yet, we still get a new fancy wrapping, which despite its retro appeal looks absolutely terrific. The graphics are sharp and highly detailed, and there are plenty of animations that are smooth and vibrant. What deserves a special mention though is the soundtrack, which is just incredible. It fits the gameplay perfectly and adds a final touch to the atmosphere, and it picks up the tempo when you hit bonus features keeping you in the right mood during your session.

Hyper Joker Gold Blitz comes with bet levels varying from £0.2 to £50, which is the typical Fortune Factory Studios range.

To achieve a payout, you need to land at least 3 of the same low symbols or 2 high symbols adjacently on the reels starting from the leftmost. There are 11 different symbols - the classic A-9 card ranks make up the lower section, and the premium lot includes in ascending order horseshoes, bells, coins, gold bars, and jokers.

Matching 6 of the same low symbols along a single win line awards a cash prize of 1x to 1.5x your bet. The premiums, in turn, pay from 2x to 5x your bet for combinations of six. Helping you to score wins are Wild symbols, available on reels 2 - 6 in the base game, which stand in for any of the regulars in winning combos. In the free spins though, they can appear only within the reels 2, 3, and 4, but they increase all payouts they take part in, explained below.

Both of the game’s main features are triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels during the base game. When a required combination appears, players are given a choice between Free Spins and the Gold Blitz bonus. The number of awarded spins depends on the number of triggering Scatters, as follows:

In the free games, everything operates similarly to the base game. The main difference is that Wild symbols land with a Multiplier attached, which can be either 2x, 3x, or 5x. Landing 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter symbols simultaneously during the bonus awards 5, 8, 12, 20, or 30 extra spins.

In the base game, also keep an eye out for Cash, Jackpot, and Collect symbols.

If a player chooses a Gold Blitz in the bonus selection, they proceed to special reels where only Cash, Jackpot, and Collect symbols are available. In bonus spins, a Collect symbol always appears on reel 1, so wins are guaranteed on each spin.

Finally, players can trigger the bonus selection immediately via the Buy Feature. Three different options are available:
