Aloha Spirit XtraLock is an Hawaiian-themed slot from Swintt, and it plays out on 5x3 reels with 30 paylines. The bonus round comes with a locked wild reel in the middle, and the big highlight is the Tiki XtraLock Feature. It’s all about merging sticky Tiki Mask cash symbols to trigger prize and jackpot reels, and this can land you payouts up to 200,500x your stake. Check our full review right below the free demo game.
Headings
Aloha Spirit XtraLock Review
If you’re looking to dream yourself away to the island paradise that is Hawaii, with coconut drinks, palm trees and hulu dancing ladies with flowers in their hair, Aloha Spirit XtraLock may be exactly what you need. You can barely see the beach in the backdrop though, but the flower lady plays a prominent part as the top-tier pay symbol.
The free spins feature isn’t really the big attraction here, as it’s a simple bonus round with a locked middle reel wild and a mediocre 150x single spin potential. What you really want is the Tiki XtraLock Feature, as this is where you can land massive jackpots and win up to 200,500x your stake. This is done by merging Tiki Mask cash symbols into prize/jackpot reels, but overall this is yet another mediocre release from Swintt.
Aloha Spirit XtraLock Slot - Reels ScreenAloha Spirit XtraLock Slot Features
The premium symbols pay between 2 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and the same goes for the pineapple Wild symbol. The wild also substitutes for any regular pay symbol to help complete winning combinations, like wilds usually do.

The Bonus Round is triggered when you land at least 3 scatters anywhere in view, and this awards 12 free spins. You also get an upfront scatter win of 2, 15 or 100 x your stake for 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively, and reel 3 is wild during the feature. You can still land scatters on reel 3 though, and 3+ scatters retriggers the bonus round with +12 extra spins.
You need 6+ Tiki Masks anywhere in view to trigger the Tiki XtraLock Feature, and this awards 5 Tiki Spins.
You cannot land regular wins during the feature, which means that regular symbols act as blanks. The triggering Tiki Masks are sticky, and it’s all about landing as many new sticky Tiki Masks as possible before the feature ends.Adjacent Tiki Masks can merge to form Tiki Prize Reels when at least 4 symbols combine, and this is how you can win the 4 jackpots on display above the reel set. It works as follows:
- A 4-6 positions Prize Reel can award the Minor (1,000 credits) or Major (5,000 credits) jackpots, or a prize up to 100x your stake.
- A 10 positions Prize Reel can also award the 25,000 credits Super Jackpot, or a prize up to 150x your stake.
- A 12-15 positions Prize Reel can also award the 100,000 credits Mega Jackpot, or a prize up to 750x your stake.
Finally, non-UK players, and anyone eligible, can buy the Tiki XtraLock Feature for 75x the total stake. This increases the RTP to 97.16 %, and you’re guaranteed to land 6+ triggering Tiki Masks on the spin that follows.

Swintt does not have a single hit release in their 115 games back catalog, and they have yet to release anything remotely memorable. We hardly think Aloha Spirit XtraLock will be their big break, although it does offer a somewhat interesting hold-and-win inspired feature. Merging sticky cash symbols to win bigger prizes, and possibly solid jackpots, is not unheard of, but it’s still more fun than your run-of-the-mill streak respins round.
The free spins bonus round did not do much for us however, as 150x your stake is the most you can hope for from a single spin anyway. The middle wild reel is helpful, of course, not least combined with other wilds, but what you really want is the Tiki XtraLock Feature. If we were to give Swintt a tip on the way, it would be to simplify the paytable system, and make it more understandable how much you actually win from different things.
Pros
- Bonus Round w/ reel 3 as wild
- Tiki XtraLock w/ merging jackpot reels
- 75x XtraLock bonus buy (not UK)
- Win up to 200,500x your stake
Cons
- Beware of adjustable RTP ranges
If you enjoy Aloha Spirit XtraLock Slot you should also try:
Tiki Fruits Totem Frenzy - is a cluster pays fruity beach slot from Red Tiger, and it plays out on a 7x9 grid with Tiki masks that turn wild when adjacent to winning combos. These can also trigger symbol removal modifiers, and low-value symbols are removed in the bonus round for payouts up to 3,319x your stake.
Tiki Reward - is an All41 Studios’ release with 5x3 reels and 50 win ways, and you’ll benefit from multiplier wilds in all stages of the game. You can also land 4 tiki jackpots up to 1,030x combined, and your jackpot chances increase when the bonus round is triggered.
Tiki Luck - takes you to a pearly white Hawaiian beach, and flower lady wilds play a central part in all stages of the game. She becomes sticky in the bonus round, and the progressive multiplier may lead to payouts up to 3,000x your stake.
