Fat Drac is a volatile, vampire-themed follow-up slot in the ‘fat series’ from Push Gaming, and it plays out on a 5x5 grid with 40 paylines. Shifting random Bubble Prizes up to 50,000x can be won from different Bat features, and the Drac symbol is a mystery Reveal symbol (not wild). Fat Drac Review
Push Gaming is pushing their own limits with the release of Fat Drac, which is the 3rd installment in their cult-classic ‘Fat’ range. The soundtrack is perfect for this cartoon-style game, and it establishes a creepy, yet humorous, atmosphere from the get-go. While Fat Santa was an Xmas copycat job with a higher potential, Fat Drac is taking the series in a new and even more volatile direction.
A left-hand side Bubble Prize reel has been included, and it can award instant payouts up to 50,000x your stake. All 7 prizes in view can be won at random times, and you win a random amount of the gradually shifting prizes via different Bat features. The Drac symbol reveals either a prize winning bat or a random pay symbol, and it gobbles down goblets of blood to grow in size in the bonus round.

The golden wild can land anywhere on the grid, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols to help you complete winning combos. It’s also the highest value symbol in the game by far, awarding 250x your stake for 5-oak. The 4 premium symbols pay 5 to 25 x your stake for the same in comparison, and in an unexpected twist; the Fat Drac symbol is not wild.

Instead, the Fat Drac is a so-called Revealing symbol, which is another word for mystery symbol.
It turns into a random pay symbol when it appears, or the special Bat symbol. When Fat Drac turns into a Bat, the nocturnal creature will fly towards the 7 Instant Prizes that shift per spin on the left-hand side. It will land on a prize that’s immediately awarded, and these ‘bubble prizes’ are worth 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, 1,000x, 5,000x, 10,000x or 50,000x your stake. At random times, the Fat Bat feature will trigger in the base game, and you’ll see a Fat Bat collect all 7 ‘bubble prizes’ currently present. These are then summed up and awarded, but sometimes the Fat Bat will simply fly over the grid to tease you.
You trigger a Pick’em feature when you land a coffin symbol anywhere in view. You then get to choose from 4 coffins, and these may award anything from 1 to 5 bats.
You win the same amount of random bubble prizes. A goblet symbol may also be awarded, but only if Fat Drac is already present on the grid.Fat Drac Slot - Pick'em GameThis is how you trigger the Bonus Round, namely by landing Fat Drac and a Goblet symbol at the same time. You start with 5 free spins, and Drac remains on the grid for the duration of the feature. He moves towards any new Goblet symbols that land, and drinks the blood from it.
The Drac Reveal symbol starts with the regular 1x1 size, and you need to drink/collect goblets to increase the size of the Drac Reveal symbol as follows:
- 5 collected goblets (including the triggering one(s)) - 2x2 Drac size + 4 extra spins.
- 5 additional goblets collected - 3x3 Drac size + 3 extra spins.
- 3 additional goblets collected - 4x4 Drac size + 2 extra spins.
- 2 additional goblets collected - 5x5 Drac size + 2 extra spins.
Of course, getting to the final level with a 5x5 sized Drac means that he fills the entire grid. This doesn’t happen all that often, as you can imagine, but it can be quite lucrative when you finally get there.
The 200 Spins Fat Drac Experience
We grinded along in the base game, with a few Fat Bat flyover teasers, before we suddenly landed a decent 100x bubble prize from a single Bat won in the Pick’em Bonus. The bonus round is triggered around 2:15 into the 4-minute highlights video, and you can see what kind of Drac size we achieved by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
We’re glad to see that Push Gaming has decided to break free from “expectations”, and take a step in a new direction with Fat Drac. Having a growing Reveal/Mystery symbol instead of a growing wild might disappoint some fans, but the 50,000x potential (with a 1 in 76,613,180 win chance) seems like adequate compensation. A compromise would have been to allow the Fat Drac mystery symbol to also reveal the high-value wild, but that’s sadly not the case.
The most you can win from a 5x5 grid-covering Drac is thus 1,000x your stake per spin, which makes the 50,000x potential seem like a long shot.
The instant bubble prizes are perhaps your best bet for massive payouts in other words, but that feature feels a bit bolted-on and incongruent. It’s good fun to see Drac chase blood goblets and grow in size for sure, but getting above tier 2 on the size meter is not all that easy.Pros
- Fat Drac Reveal (mystery) symbol
- Shifting ‘bubble prizes’ up to 50,000x
- Random Fat Bat collects all 7 current prizes
- Pick’em game awards up to 5 instant prizes
- FS w/ growing Drac (up to 5x5) and extra spins
Cons
- Largest regular symbol win is 1,000x your stake
- Beware of adjustable RTP ranges
- Growing symbol is not wild (like in previous games)
If you love Fat Drac you should also try:
Fat Rabbit - is the Push Gaming classic that started the whole series, and it plays out on a farm. The angry farmer awards sticky carrot wilds at random times, and the rabbit wild grows in size by eating carrots in the bonus round. This can lead to payouts up to 2,000x your stake.
Fat Santa - is a Christmas-themed follow-up from Push Gaming, and it’s very similar to Fat Rabbit. The biggest difference is that you can now win up to 6,405x your stake, and non-UK players can purchase the bonus round for a reasonable 80x your stake.
Vampire Senpai - is something as unusual as an asian-themed vampire slot from Quickspin, and the vampire symbol infects other character symbols on the 5x5 grid. A mystery talisman can add up to 9 wilds at random times, and the bonus round comes a sticky talisman wild and a roaming vampire wild for payouts up to 8,894x your stake.
